CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENTAL
ORGANIZATIONS

October, 1999 Cornwall Declaration on Environmental Stewardship

humanity and the environment. It
was signed by over 100 leading clergy, theologians, and scholars
in response to the stifling of public discussion by a growing
chorus advocates passionate about the environment who have been
attempting to redefine traditional Judeo-Christian teachings on
stewardship, and ultimately, our duties as responsible human
beings.
